The set includes vintage tunes by Fleetwood Mac, The Allman Brothers Band and Albert King: modern interpretations of songs by Robert Johnson, Otis Rush and Muddy Waters: contemporary blues tunes by Joe Bonamassa, Joanne Shaw Taylor and Kenny Wayne Shepherd: rock classics by Thin Lizzy, Creedence Clearwater Revival and The Eagles: plus ZZ Top, Jeff Healey, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Cream.  ![Three](https://thegentlemenhellhounds.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/Three.jpg?width=2869&height=2586&name=Three.jpg) ## Socials Take a look at our video sampler... "The idea of a hypnotic riff as the prime mover of a piece of music has been around for a long time, whether you're talking about the Delta blues or music from Middle Eastern and African cultures." - Jimmy Page Artists include Charley Patton, Sun House, Robert Johnson   #### Chicago Blues Like Delta blues, but with electric guitar, utilising its effects, such as distortion and overdrive. "Look at this old guitar here you been squeakin' on. I bet you saw this thing in a music store and bought it just because you thought it was beat up! Well you got it all wrong. **Muddy Waters invented electricity!**" -*Crossroads,* (movie, 1986) Artists include Willie Dixon, Howling Wolf, Elmore James   #### Piedmont Blues When blues went east, Piedmont blues developed. It's bouncy and syncopated; sort of ragtime on the guitar. "You got the south on steroids, when you got the music of the south, the culture of the south, the beauty of the south, through Brownie and Sonny,” - Taj Mahal Artists include Blind Willy McTell, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee   #### British Invasion and British Blues American rock and roll, and blues, being made by British artists with their own spin, and becoming popular in the States. Invasion artists include Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Zombies, Pretty Things. British blues came from Cream, Free, Spencer Davies Group   #### Blues Inspired Rock Classics ...needs no explanation :-) ...   ### Gallery ![AIPoster](https://thegentlemenhellhounds.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/AIPoster.png?width=554&height=778&name=AIPoster.png) ![les slate](https://thegentlemenhellhounds.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/les%20slate.jpg?width=4032&height=3024&name=les%20slate.jpg) ![Andy slate](https://thegentlemenhellhounds.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/Andy%20slate.jpg?width=4032&height=3024&name=Andy%20slate.jpg) ![Dean slate](https://thegentlemenhellhounds.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/Dean%20slate.jpg?width=4032&height=3024&name=Dean%20slate.jpg) ![IMG_6521 - Copy2](https://thegentlemenhellhounds.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_6521%20-%20Copy2.jpg?width=3024&height=2869&name=IMG_6521%20-%20Copy2.jpg) ![IMG_6500](https://thegentlemenhellhounds.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_6500.jpg?width=2459&height=3969&name=IMG_6500.jpg) ![IMG_6416copy-1](https://thegentlemenhellhounds.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_6416copy-1.jpeg?width=1632&height=3024&name=IMG_6416copy-1.jpeg) ![IMAG0021 (2)](https://thegentlemenhellhounds.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/IMAG0021%20(2).jpg?width=2117&height=1803&name=IMAG0021%20(2).jpg) ![Dean](https://thegentlemenhellhounds.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/Dean.jpg?width=960&height=960&name=Dean.jpg) ![IMG-20240503-WA0000](https://thegentlemenhellhounds.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG-20240503-WA0000.jpg?width=1500&height=2000&name=IMG-20240503-WA0000.jpg) That's all for now ## Thanks for stopping by Now, book us, why don't you...? ![GH Gear](https://thegentlemenhellhounds.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/GH%20Gear.jpg?width=3218&height=3024&name=GH%20Gear.jpg) ## Get In Touch Email: thegentlemenhellhounds@gmail.com Call: 07836 504496 --- ©Lynton.
